Privacy Policy

This policy describes how Introgauge, Inc. ("Introgauge", "we") collects, uses, and protects information when you use introgauge.io and our assessment products. We build behavioral assessments — that means we handle data about how people work, and we think the page describing that should be specific rather than boilerplate.

What we collect, by how you use us

The free CareerIQ assessment (no account)

You can complete CareerIQ without creating an account. We store:

• Your answers to the 20 questions and the scores computed from them (your four driver scores and archetype).
• Your email address, only if you choose to enter it to save your results. Leaving it blank is fully supported — your results still display and your result link still works.
• How you found us, if you answer the optional "How did you hear about us?" question.

If you provide your email, we send your results immediately and a short series of at most three follow-up emails over the next two weeks about what your archetype means for teamwork. The series ends on its own, and every email — including the first — contains a one-click unsubscribe that we honor immediately and permanently.

Your results page has a shareable link and a compare link. Sharing is your choice: results are never public unless you send someone your link. A shared results page shows your archetype and scores; it never shows your email address.

Accounts and team assessments

When your organization uses Introgauge, we store your account details (name, email, password hash or sign-in provider link), your assessment responses and computed scores, and — where your organization uses them — development plans and 360° feedback. Peer and manager feedback is presented to subjects in aggregated form.

Your assessment data is visible to the administrators of your organization on Introgauge. That is inherent to how team assessment works — if you're unsure who administers your organization, ask them before completing an assessment.

Organizations are isolated from each other: no other customer can see your organization's data.

Assessments purchased through our partners

Some organizations offer their own branded assessments delivered on Introgauge. If you purchase one, the partner's payment processor tells us your email and payment reference so we can send your single-use assessment link and, on the partner's behalf, count completed assessments for billing between us and the partner. Your responses and results are handled as described above; the partner administers that assessment's organization.

Payments

Payments are processed by Stripe. Card numbers never touch our servers — we store only Stripe's references (customer and subscription identifiers) and what's needed for your invoices.

Cookies and analytics

We use cookies that make the product work (sign-in sessions) and, only with your consent via the cookie banner, analytics (Google Analytics) to understand aggregate usage. Declining analytics does not limit the product. Our first-party funnel metrics come from our own database, not from tracking you across the web.

Where your data lives and who processes it

We host on Vercel with our database on Neon (United States). Email is delivered via Resend. Payments via Stripe. Analytics (consent-gated) via Google Analytics. These providers process data on our instructions; we don't sell your data or share it with anyone for their own advertising.

Organizations may optionally connect AI assistants to their own data through a read-only, organization-scoped API key that their administrators control and can revoke at any time. It exposes that organization's assessment data only.

How long we keep it

Account and organization data is kept while the account is active. Free CareerIQ results are kept so your results link continues to work. If you unsubscribe, we keep the minimal record needed to make sure we never email you again.

Your choices

• Access or deletion: email hello@introgauge.io from the relevant address and we will export or delete your data. For data held inside an organization's account, we may direct the request through that organization's administrator, since it is their instance.
• Unsubscribe: one click, in every marketing email, effective immediately.
• Sharing: results are shared only by links you choose to send.

What we don't do

We don't sell personal data. We don't claim compliance certifications we don't hold. We don't send marketing to assessment respondents inside customer organizations — lifecycle email about an assessment you were assigned is operational, not marketing.

Changes

If this policy changes materially, we'll update the date above and, for account holders, say so in the product. Continued use after a change means acceptance.
